Concordia Summer Camp

Our summer program allows children (ages 3-10) to participate in fun and engaging activities in a safe, Christian environment. We offer a large playground, a gym for rainy or hot days, arts & crafts, games, activities, and weekly field trips.

Weekly Themes

WEEKLY THEMES


Week 1 | June 3 - 7

WE ARE FAMILY! | Ms. Zitzke & Mrs. Grooms

We will focus on gaining new friendships and team-building activities.


Week 2 | June 10 - 14

LET’S PINTEREST! | Mrs. Coller & Mrs. Rehfeldt

This week will be all about creating and learning about the arts as well as working with various materials and media.


Week 3 | June 17 - 21

ALL BALL! | Mr. Heffner & Ms. Grooms

This week we will have fun playing and learning about many different sports. We will work on sportsmanship, as well as learn game rules for basketball, football, volleyball, to name a few.


Week 4 | June 24 - 28

ABOVE THE CLOUDS, SERIOUSLY, WHAT’S UP THERE? | Mrs. Busker & Mrs. Rehfeldt

This theme will start off learning about space, and then go even higher than that to heaven!


Week 5 | July 1 - 3

GOD BLESS THE USA! | Ms. Zitzke & Mrs. Grooms

We will learn the history of the USA and create fun take-home crafts just in time for the 4th of July! (This camp week is only 3 days.)


Week 6 | July 8 - 12

CHRISTMAS IN JULY! | Mr. Heffner & Mrs. Heffner

We will celebrate Christmas by learning about the holiday and creating fun projects. We may also have a visit from the man in red himself!


Week 7 | July 15 - 19

MAD SCIENCE! | Mrs. Coller & Mrs. Grooms

This will be a fun week full of making goo and lots of other fun experiments.


Week 8 | July 22 - 26

CAN YOU BUILD THIS OUT OF THAT? | Mr. Heffner & Ms. Zitzke

This theme will have us busy building and creating! We will use different materials to create different structures.


Week 9 | July 29 - August 2

SUPERHEROES! | Mr. Heffner & Mrs. Busker

Campers will create their own superhero based on what superpower they would love to have. We will also learn about the superheroes of the Bible!


Week 10 | August 5 - 9

THE GREAT FAREWELL! | Ms. Zitzke & Mrs. Grooms

Our final week of summer camp! It’s all about games and fun!

WHAT TO BRING TO CAMP

Bring:

Sack lunch (Pizza is provided on Fridays - 2 slices per child)

Afternoon Snack (Morning Snack is provided.)

Water bottle

Sunscreen (label with child’s name & may leave at CLS)

Swimsuit & cover-up on Swimming Days


Please do NOT bring:

Electronics, phones, etc.

TUITION & FEES

Registration Fee*

*t-shirt included (to be worn on camp field trips)

Before April 15 - $55/camper

After April 15 - $65/camper


Tuition by the Week

$150 per week

Tuition by the Day

$40 per day


Tuition is due each Friday for the upcoming week.


Family Discount

1st child - $150/ week

Additional Children - $140/week

Family Discount is not available when paying tuition by the day.



Potty-Training Requirements

All Campers MUST be fully potty-trained.

A potty-trained child must be able to do the following:

-Be able to verbally TELL the adult they have to go potty BEFORE they go.

-Pull their underwear and pants down and back up without assistance

-Wipe themselves after using the toilet

-Get on and off the potty by themselves

-Wash and dry hands

-Briefly postpone going potty if they must wait for a stall to be available or if class is outside or away from the bathroom
